Customs seize Kush worth Rs.60 mn
ORUGODAWATTA (Daily Mirror) - Customs officers today seized a special cannabis variety 'Kush' valued at around Rs. 60 million at the commodity inspection yard in the Orugudawatta Revenue Monitoring Unit, Customs media spokesman Sivali Arukgoda said.
He told the media that an agent on behalf of the owner of this parcel sent from Canada to an address in Ganemulla was detained by customs.
The suspect and the drug stock will be handed over to the Police Narcotics Division for further investigations.
