Colombo (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka Customs detected parcels containing psychedelic drugs worth over Rs.60 million sent from the USA and Canada at a local courier agency today.
Customs Narcotic Control Unit officials checked seven suspicious packages that had been sent through a courier service to its local office in Seeduwa and found the drugs.
According to Customs Spokesman Senior Director Seevali Arukgoda, the parcels had been addressed to local recipients in Colombo, Maharagama and Piliyandala but the addresses were found to be fake.
The officials found 310 Ecstasy tablets, eight kilogramms of cannabis variety Kush, 300 grams of Mandy and eight grams of Ice inside the parcels.
The seized drugs were to be handed over to the Police Narcotic Bureau for further investigation.

It seems YouTuber Darshana Hadungoda might have a knack for uncovering mysteries too! Kudos to the silent hero who lifted the veil on this drug racket. It's like Customs went from snoozing on the job to striking a pose in the photos here. Public, take note of these people; these detectives were sleeping for a long time. All of a sudden, they have woken up!

HIGH TIME the Government set up a REHAB Centre to treat the DRUG ADDICTS, usually the addicts work in the centre eg cooking cleaning, farming, training in a skill etc so hopefully they come out a reformed person and be productive in society. DEATH SENTENCE for dealers, as it is hard to trace the other higher levels of those that operate.

Agency is responsible as the parcels are accepted by their agents/principals at the other end after identifying the person dropping it. Get Interpol help to have them questioned. At Colombo end the agency must know whom to deliver when the names are fake

Show the public how these are destroyed, IF they are destroyed!

What is the point in telling the public this because drugs turn out to be wheat flower or saw dust. These are the miracles in Sri Lanka.
