Amongst the challenges are poor umpiring, other cricket teams playing really well, and bouncy wickets. The minister promised to organize tours from the likes of Afghanistan so the cricketers can feel better.

Going to the wrong man he can't do nothing.. now he is a silent agent for IND and BCCI loyalty to them and their interests comes first not yours.

Confidence, belief in oneself and ones ability to perform (mental game), and Team Spirit very important in SL context, Aussies excel in these fields. And Selection on Merit again something in which Aussies excel, all contribute to their success in team sports

Most batsmen throw away their wickets playing rash shots. So stop playing brainless cricket; that's the only solution. No need to waste time with the Sports Minister. Other great cricketing nations don't do this sort of thing.

I totally agree with Libby. I don't think any cricket team in any other country goes to the minister to discuss the players issues. Harin is not a cricket expert to advise our cricketers. We have senior retired cricketers and coaches who can give the answers. I live in NZ and sports minister here never interferes the cricket activities and players don't go there. That's the reason NZ is ranking as one of the top ranking teams in the world. System needs changes

In SL everything is politicised. Start to get politico to put child to school then get employment. Get licences for anything. Other countries officials handle all these and politicos only for policy not day to day problems. Thanks to Mrs B

The present bunch consistently failing to qualify ICC tournaments. Always have to play and win qualifiers to play with the big boys. That's wasn't the Case with previous teams. For God sake SL the only team ever to play 5 ICC World Cup finals consecutively (Winning one 2014 T20) let me tell you the present bunch lack grit and determination, period!!

Sports minister should ask the cricketers what challenges have they planned to beat the other sides

What is this? Trade union? More money? They should concentrate on playing cricket. Cheap politics by the Minister.
