Court notice issued ahead of Colombo Swimming Club AGM elections

Colombo, March 27 (Daily Mirror) - The Colombo District Court today (27) issued notices to issue interim injunction on the General Committee and several candidates contesting the elections of the Colombo Swimming Club, scheduled to be held on March 28.

The Court issued this order following a plaint filed by a member of the Colombo Swimming Club. When the matter was supported, the Court issued notices to issue interim injunction against the defendants, including members of the General Committee and several contestants in the election.

The matter has been fixed for April 30, 2026, for the return of summons and for the defendants’ objections.
