Colombo, Sept. 14 (Daily Mirror) - A couple from Galgamuwa, Kurunegala, undertook a six-hour motorcycle journey to Tangalle to visit former President Mahinda Rajapaksa at his Carlton House residence.

The couple said they decided to make the trip out of their affection for the former President after learning that he had arrived in Tangalle from Colombo. They later met Rajapaksa and engaged in a friendly conversation.

On the same day, a group of preschool children, accompanied by their parents, also visited the former President. The children sang a song in his honor during the visit.

MR and his family are having a LUXURY LIFE. So don't wate your energy and money by travelling like this. He was elected as a President to serve the Nation and tax Payers are NOT obliged to look after him and his family after his retirement.
