Colombo, May 10 (Daily Mirror)- Secretary to the Constitutional Council Dhammika Dassanayake has resigned from the post, sources from Parliament said today.

He has resigned with effect from May 15, 2025 due to personal reasons.

The Constitutional Council has reportedly accepted his letter of resignation.

There is actually a big deal about it. The corrupt resign all the time when they realise their time is up. This fellow used parliamentary power to get an office in Parliament premises when there were quarters at Constitutional Council office elsewhere.
