Unless they Invade SL, Should Maintain Ties Tuesday, 14 May 2024 12:38 PM

First of all, having or not having diplomatic ties with Israel won’t affect either country. Remember, SL is Bankrupt and is always looking out for loans. Most countries have their own concerns too these days. If SL goes on this track as recommended by Rauff, SL will end up with having few friends. If you don’t agree with your neighbours, you will lodge a complaint with the authorities, you move on if they can’t settle it or stay put and adapt to the situation.

Cutting diplomatic ties is only symbolic and will not achieve anything. Take Canada as an example. Once you cut relationships you lose the opportunity to discuss/debate/and protest. It is a different matter that Israel is an unlawful Pariah state established by the Brits. If all Israel's neighbours unite, it will not exist. Divide and rule British tactic still work.'
