Colombo to face 9-hour water supply interruption tomorrow

Colombo, Sept. 5 (Daily Mirror) - Residents in selected areas of Colombo will experience a 9-hour water supply disruption tomorrow (6), the National Water Supply and Drainage Board (NWSDB) announced.

The water cut will be in effect from 10:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., affecting Colombo 1 to 15, as well as Battaramulla, Pelawatta, Hokandara, Koswatta, Thalawathugoda, Kotte, Rajagiriya, Mirihana, Madiwela, Nugegoda, Nawala, Kolonnawa, IDH, Kotikawatta, Angoda, Wellampitiya, Orugodawatta, Mulleriyawa, Maharagama, Boralesgamuwa, Dehiwala, Mount Lavinia, and Moratuwa.

The NWSDB has advised residents in the affected areas to store sufficient water in advance to manage the interruption.
