Club Wasantha’s murder: Main suspect released on bail

The first suspect Balapitiyage Dulan Sanjaya who had been on remand in the murder of Surendra Wasantha Perera alias “Club Wasantha” at a tattoo centre in Athurugiriya was released on cash bail of Rs. 150,000 and personal bail of Rs.250,000 each with two sureties by Homagama High Court Judge Nawaratne Marasinghe.

Several other suspects who had been on remand for aiding and abetting the murder were released on similar bail conditions.

Attorney at Law Nuwan Jayawardane appeared for the suspects.
