China pursuing a military base in Sri Lanka: US claims

Since World war two, Yankees have not won any wars in any part of the world. If Sino's BRI (Belt and Road Initiative) go according to the plan in 20 years, then 200 years Yankees domination of the globe will come to an end!??

So what's the problem? If US and UK have military bases around the world with or witout concent of a host country, why not China, India, Iran, Russia and Turkey can't have them? Bloody hegemony is long gone and the next step is to scrap the VETO in the UN.

I'm sure the US does not pursue, build or maintain overseas military bases, black sites or other infrastructure anywhere in the world., so they are morally able to point the finger at China

We can't be trapped in this geopolitical conflict between big countries . We need to have our sovereignty free of all all political influence. Don't blame any one but we should blame our politicians who took wrong decision on our foreign policies

The United States has 800 military bases around the world, spattered across at least 80 countries. We, as Sri Lankans, don't fear China. The number one enemy to Sri Lanka are these Europeans. USA/NATO/WEST have bombed more than 22 countries since World War II and killed more than 30 million innocent people. Please tell me, when did China bomb a country??  Suddha is our only enemy. These Europeans were responsible for two world wars, and it is this same race that is provoking World War 3. A big nuclear war is coming, and the only reason why the West wants this war is to wipe out billions of people who are not white. They want a white world, and racism is the only reason. Not long ago, we had these whites come to our country, and they had a white-only party. Remember that these Europeans never change, and racism is in their DNA. They want the world to think China is an enemy, but we know your history, white people. China never forced us to give land or push their agenda like you whites.

Isn't that the reason the bought the rights on Hambantota harbour and also want to invest in an oil refinery next to this. Think Manju Nissankha mentioned this in one of his videos about six months ago. Not rocket science.

Our Leaders must have courage, braveness, and willingness to say no at some points in geopolitics. We may disagree with late Srima in some aspects of her politics. But she was brave enough, clever enough, and wise enough to say no to some countries in some foreign policy matters. she had some no alliance foreign policies to protect our sovereignty and political integrity and yet, today, we have been indirectly or directly intimidated to some extent politically by these powers. Although we are a small country. Our geographical location is import to many of these countries so we must act with precaution and say no to any foreign influence.

Excellent news! We should lease a suitable land on long term lease to them on condition they provide naval and coast guard services to us. Then reduce the size of our navy which will save a lot of money. Afterwards, lease a similar land to India for another naval base on same conditions. Then completely get rid of our navy :D

USA has over 700 military bases around the globe, some based in forcibly occupied areas like Diego Garcia and Guantanamo Bay, still has the nerve to indulge in its trademark fearmongering when they feel challenged. Hypocrisy in its highest order.
