Chandima Weerakkody contracts COVID-19

MP Chandima Weerakkody has tested positive for COVID-19.

He was confirmed to have been infected with the virus after a RAT was conducted on him at the Karapitiya Teaching Hospital last evening.

The MP is currently under quarantine at a treatment centre in Hikkaduwa.
