Colombo, March 14 (Daily Mirror) - Opposition MP Chamara Sampath today proposed that MPs must be given holidays tomorrow in line with the animal survey to be held tomorrow.

The MP told Parliament that the government has declared an island-wide animal survey from 8.00 am to 8.05 am tomorrow morning.

"We urge the Speaker to declare a holiday for Parliament tomorrow. We need to go to our villages and count animals in our gardens. Who are we going to count animals in our gardens when we are in Parliament,' he asked.
