Colombo, April 10 (Daily Mirror) - Some of those who confronted us in the past are with us today as we don't want to curse the past, Deputy Minister Mahinda Jayasinghe told Parliament.
"We need reconciliation. We need to bury the past. That is why Minister Harshana Nanayakkara who is the son of Yasapalitha Nanayakkara, is with us today, the Deputy Minister said.
Yasapalitha Nanayakkara was a member of the Sri Lanka Mahajana Party which opposed the JVP in the 1980s.
