Even if some people claim that it would take 10 years to revive the country back to normalcy, SJB MP Rajitha Senaratne said they could do it in around five years.

"Apart from food, medicine and milk powder, there are two other essentials that people need and the government should prioritize on providing them to people. We are ready to assist the President in this task," he said.

It will certainly be possible if selfish politicians like Mr Senaratne and his clan are exterminated from politics. These are the guys who could not put their political differences aside even when the country is going through perhaps it’s single most serious crisis at least post independence. The excuses using a high moral ground is at most very flimsy, and it is clear that it is for mere narrow political expediency. One thing for sure a Peoples’ Friend in a time of need is a Peoples’ Friend indeed. The people will deal with saboteurs like yourselves in the manner you best deserve at the next election opportunity. In the meantime they may continue to talk baila taking the intelligence of the People for granted.

Can be revieved for better in 1 year with the following 1. IMF package 2. Reduce public sector workers by 90 % with in 3 years 3. Reduce cabinet of ministers/ deputy/ state etc to 10 and total MPs to 75 (from 225) 4. Govt exit from all businesses and only act as regulators. With the current politicians and bueroctrats even if situation improves in short term we will be back to the same in a few years.

Sri Lanka will never recover from the present crisis in various fields until billions of dollars stolen money belonging to tax payers has been recovered from Europe, Africa, USA, UK etc and brought back to Sri Lankan coffers as this is the main cause of present crisis.If not there will be mass exodus of young people leaving Sri Lanka.

Revival of the island nation will be only with a new set of clean Parliamentrians and not with jokers. Old politicians have hoodwinked the young ones accusing them for many years but, Finally that is done and dusted. Our Police is the biggest joke , Judiciary is so- slowwwww they take forever to find verdicts for 90% of cases, What a shame!
