No solutions to increase capacity locally and fund local farmers. Our farmers are so poor but do all the hard work, can't afford machines or modernization to increase productivity. They have to beg for government help to ensure they get a good harvest and are able to sell it all to pay off farming loans. The millions spent on imports could be used go fund local agriculture and farmers. But there are no kickbacks in that, so why would are wonderful successive governments bother if they don't personally profit from it?
