Colombo, Oct 14 (Daily Mirror)- The Cabinet has granted approval for importers to bring in up to 520 metric tonnes of Ponni Samba rice per importer without the need for import permits.
The decision serves as a temporary measure to address the shortage of Keeri Samba in the local market.
