CSE trading hours increased by half an hour
Trading hours of the Colombo Stock Exchange has been extended by half an hour with effect from September 15.
Accordingly, regular trading will start at 10.00 a.m. instead of 10.30 a.m. and close at 12.30 p.m. The pre-open session will be from 9.30 a.m. to 10.00 a.m.
The CSE said the decision to extend trading hours was taken in consultation with the Securities and Exchange Commission and the stockbroking industry.
