She may be a crook but the CID is not some kind of “Gods” to decide to humiliate the suspect by bringing her in public view to examine the site where she once worked. After all the CID are just any policemen who get transferred to the CID department. How can a constable attached to ,say, Galle police station or an Inspector attached to ,say, Kandy police station become “ super cops “ simply because they get transferred to the CID department .
