Colombo, June 1 (Daily Mirror) - Ranjan Jayalal, a prominent trade unionist affiliated with the JVP-led trade union in the Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB), has been appointed as the new Mayor of Kaduwela.

The Election Commission officially gazetted his name, confirming the appointment.
