CEB employee arrested over links to ICE drug suspect
Colombo, Sept. 22 (Daily Mirror) - A Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) employee has been taken into custody by the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) for allegedly providing accommodation to a key suspect in a major drug case.
Police said the suspect, identified as Sampath Manamperi, is currently in remand following the discovery of a buried container filled with chemicals used in the production of the synthetic drug ‘Ice’ in Middeniya.
