CEB denies employees’ involvement in alleged assault



Colombo, March. 5 (Daily Mirror) - The Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) has denied reports circulating in certain media outlets claiming that a group of its employees assaulted an individual.

In a clarification, CEB Deputy General Manager (Business and Operations Strategy) Noel Priyantha said that a video clip circulating, a group of individuals assaulting a person had been circulated in some media, alleging that those involved were CEB employees.

He strongly highlighted that no employee of the CEB was involved in the incident.
