Colombo, February 5 (Daily Mirror)- The Mount Lavinia District Court today ordered former Minister C.B. Ratnayake to pay a compensation of Rs. 250 million to Samagi Jana Balawegaya (SJB) MP Sujeewa Senasinghe for defaming him.

MP Senasinghe filed a defamation case before the Mount Lavinia District Court against former Minister Ratnayake over comments he had made during a television programme regarding the Central Bank bond scam.
