Budget debate suspended for two days due to adverse weather

Colombo, Nov. 27 (Daily Mirror) - Party leaders have decided to suspend the committee stage debate on the budget tomorrow and on Saturday because of the disaster situation, Chief Opposition Whip Gayantha Karunatilaka said. 

The House will be convened for a short period tomorrow to attend to certain government businesses. 

However, the budget debate will be extended till 12 midnight on Monday December 1 and Tuesday December 2 to make up for the lost two days.
