Brazilian President invited to visit Sri Lanka

Colombo, March 4 (Daily Mirror) - Brazilian President Lula da Silva has been invited to visit Sri Lanka, Prime Minister Harini Amarasuriya told Parliament today.

She said President Anura Kumara Dissanayake extended the invitation when he met his Brazilian counterpart in India during the recent AI summit.

Both leaders discussed avenues to further strengthen mutual cooperation between the two countries.
