Body of missing youth found in Ibbagamuwa

Colombo, Sept. 21 (Daily Mirror) - Gokarella Police have discovered the body of a young man, under mysterious circumstances inside a culvert in Yakalla, Ibbagamuwa.

The deceased has been identified as a 21-year-old resident of Pabuluwa, Ibbagamuwa. 

Police said they had received a complaint this morning reporting that the youth had gone missing since last night.

According to area residents, the young man, who had been employed as a labourer at a local  farm, had told them he will return home after completing his shift last night. 

However, the comlaint was lodged as no news was received from him after 10.00 p.m.

Gokarella Police have launched further investigations into the incident.
