Body of RDA employee missing in landslide recovered after two months



Colombo, Jan. 27 (Daily Mirror) - The body of a 30-year-old man who went missing following a landslide in Gawarammana village, Welimada, was recovered on Monday (26th), more than two months after the incident.

The victim, a father of one, worked as a lorry driver for the Road Development Authority (RDA) and was reported missing after the landslide struck on November 27 during road-clearing operations following heavy rains.

A witness said RDA workers had arrived at the site around 2:15 p.m. on November 26 to clear damage caused by previous landslides.
