Bodies lead police to recover another 200kgs of ice in Tangalle



Colombo, Sept. 22 (Daily Mirror) - Police have recovered another stock of suspected Crystal methamphetamine, commonly known as Ice, weighing over 200 kilograms from a lorry parked at the same premises in Seenimodara, Tangalle, where two bodies were discovered earlier.

Earlier, police said that 10 packets of the drug were initially found in a smaller lorry near the residence during preliminary investigations.

Following the recovery of the bodies, a large cache of narcotics, including heroin and over 200 kilograms of Ice, was uncovered in a lorry.

In addition to the drugs, four modern firearms were also found concealed within the same lorry.
