Bail sought for Ranil citing medical condition

If that is given (for which I am personally OK), all suspects in custody who are sick also be able to get a bail . The law should be same for all. It can't be just because he was the ex-president

As a medic, I was surprised that BP and raised blood sugar were reasons for admitting to ICU; both can be managed on the ward, and appeared well enough to walk etc. So, can’t help wondering whether medical condition was over inflated for bail purposes….
