Asian Games 2023: Sri Lankan Women reach final
The Sri Lankan women’s cricket team made a resounding statement, emphatically beating Pakistan by six wickets in the Asian Games semifinal at Hangzhou Cricket Ground and securing their spot in the finals of the Asian Games 2023.
Sri Lanka won the toss and elected to field first. They successfully contained Pakistan, restricting them to a mere 74/9. Udeshika Prabodhani starred with the ball, taking 3 wickets for 21 runs.
In pursuit of the target, the Sri Lankan Women scored 77 with 21 balls to spare.
Sri Lankan Women will now face the Indian Women's team in the final.(DSB)
