The Asian Cricket Council confirmed that Sri Lanka will host nine matches of the upcoming Asia Cup, including the final, after the hybrid-model proposed by Pakistan was approved.'
The four other matches will be played in Paksitan, who hold the hosting rights for the 2023 tournament.
It is understood that Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) is looking to share the nine matches across three venues -- Dambulla, Pallekele and Colombo -- with the final earmarked to be played in Colombo.

It is obvious whatsoever that nine matches out of thirteen are to be held in Srilanka Thus just after LPL world class Pakistan players like Babar,Naseem and Fakar will be accustomed to Srilankan pitches. Therefore Pakistan players will have a big opportunity to bounce back against India and other Asian countries
