Yukthiya or Justice program is to give a boost to acting IG who must face criminal charges for assaulting a person in custody in 2010. So it will be injustice to the victim

It's so pathetic that it has come to a point where everything our politicians and cops say has to be taken with a pinch of salt.

If it was under the direction of Acting IGP Deshabandhu Tennkoon wasting time on this type of regular Police work, he may not have time to sleep. This is the normal duty of an OIC of a Police Station. If further questioning by the police, it was revealed that etc. what did Deshabandu do in that. Media hype.

Staged or real life- one thing for sure. All the neighborhood vendors are missing. Men, women, parents, teenagers- the whole bunch. Pigeons must be starving!
