Another derailment on main line

The train plying from Badulla to Colombo Fort was detailed this morning between Heel Oya and Bandarawela railway stations, the Railways Department said.

They said the train which had left Badulla at 11.45 a.m. derailed at 10.15 a.m.

Due to the derailment, train services on the main line were limited to Bandarawela.
 
Within this month alone, this train has derailed on four occasions, hindering services on the main line. (Chaturanga Pradeep Samarawickrama)
