Another Easter Sunday attack suspect arrested

The Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) has arrested a 25-year-old man from HiHingula yesterday suspected to have links with Easter Sunday attack, Police Spokesman SSP Nihal Thalduwa said.

He said the suspect has attended lesson conducted on extremism by Zahran Hashim at a camp in Hambantota.

TID officers attached to the Kandy Division arrested the suspect.

Investigation revealed that the suspect had close contacts with the suspects who alleged to have involved in Easter Sunday attack and was aiding and abetting to extremism as well.

The spokesman said the suspect will be detained under a detention order.(Darshana Sanjeewa Balasuriya)

We are not interested in these pawns. What we need is to expose the master mind. This was a well organised and funded attack. Not a job of the 25 years old boy. We all know now where the fingers point. God is already punishing him and the people soon follow.
