Amitabh Bachchan shares edited video from ‘Kaalia’ showing him grooving to Sri Lankan hit song ’’Manike Mage Hithe’’

Veteran Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan has shared on Instagram and Twitter a video of his dance sequence from his iconic film ‘Kaalia’ with the Sri Lankan track “Manike Mage Hithe”.

Sharing the video on Twitter, he wrote that the song was “playing in loop whole night” and it was “impossible to stop listening”.

Bachchan said that the editing was done by his granddaughter Navya Naveli Nanda.

Sharing the clip, Amitabh Bachchan tweeted that, " But truly an ode to that incredible Sri Lankan song ‘Manike Mage Hithe’ .. and edited here to my KALIA song by the genius in the house , grand daughter NAVYA NAVELI ..BUT honestly “Manike .. playing in loop whole night .. impossible to stop listening to it .. SUUUPPEEERRRBBB."

"Manike Mage Hithe” is a track sung originally by Sri Lankan artist Satheeshan Rathnayake, rapped and written by one of promising Sri Lankan songwriters Dulan Alwis known as Dulan ARX. Dulan is also the writer of many recent songs that have hit millions of views on YouTube. Singer Yohani de Silva later did a cover to the song.

Indians are so worried by the news that China is helping Sri Lanka to become a vaccine producing nation by setting up a factory to make Chinese Covid vaccine. This is going to catapult Sri Lankan status internationally as there are only a handful of nations in Asia and Africa that are producing vaccines under license.
