All schools in Nuwara Eliya closed for two days due to bad weather

Due to the prevalent adverse weather conditions in the Nuwara Eliya district, the Zonal Education Department of the district has decided to close all schools in the district till tomorrow.

The decision was taken by the Zonal Education Director, who has announced to close all the schools today (6) and tomorrow (7).

A written request was sent to all school principals and they were advised to take steps to hold two alternate days of school to cover up the missing subjects and activities. (Sudath H.M. Hewa)
