All party leaders have been requested to submit their proposals and suggestions regarding the 13th Amendment to the Constitution on or before August 15, President’s Media Division (PMD) said.

The request has been made by the President's Secretary, as agreed during an all-party conference, which took place under the patronage of President Ranil Wickremesinghe on July 26.

SL's only issue = Ranil's power for ever. So, no deaths occur due to the inferior quality medicines bought on commissions, abundance of water in Embilipitiya, Hambanthota, etc. for agriculture, no unemployment, etc. Importantly, sans Ranil's proposal or wish. Absurd, indeed.

All political parties should express their views, without taking political advantage on national issues. Political solutions on 13th amendment focused on North and Eastern provinces. It is produent to administer rest of the Island by the central government and recind the provincial councils for the 7 provincial Council which is a burden on the exchequer and this will abolish corruption to a great extent.
