Akila Viraj appears before Bribery Commission

Colombo, August 22 (Daily Mirror) - Former Minister Akila Viraj Kariyawasam appeared before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption (CIABOC) this morning (22) to provide a statement.

The statement was recorded in connection with an investigation into allegations that employees of the State Engineering Corporation of Sri Lanka had been deployed to carry out renovation work at the United National Party (UNP) headquarters, Sirikotha.
