Air parade of newly leased aircraft: Namal vows action against organisers

Colombo, July 3 (Daily Mirror) - Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa said those who facilitated the air parade of the newly leased aircraft over Colombo will be questioned in the future.

He said inquiries will extend to those who approved the expenses for allowing a 10-year-old aircraft to fly over Colombo on three occasions.

“Those who authorised the spending for the aircraft to circle Colombo will also have to answer questions tomorrow,” Rajapaksa added.

Further, the SLPP National Organiser stated that he will fully support ongoing investigations, reiterating that neither he nor his family had committed any wrongdoings.
