Adverse weather leaves 366 dead, 367 missing

Colombo, Dec. 1 (Daily Mirror) - The nationwide toll from the ongoing adverse weather has surged sharply, with 366 deaths and 367 people reported missing as of 5.00 p.m. today, according to the Disaster Management Centre (DMC).

The DMC said the numbers continue to rise as rescue teams, military personnel and emergency responders work round the clock across multiple districts battered by floods, landslides and severe winds since mid-November.
