436 post-intern medical officers receive appointments
Colombo, April 8 (Daily Mirror) - The Health and Mass Media Ministry has announced the appointment of 436 post-internship medical officers to strengthen healthcare services across the island.
According to the Ministry, the appointments were officially released today (08) for candidates who had applied for post-intern medical placements.
The newly appointed doctors have been instructed to report for duty at their respective government hospitals and health institutions between April 9 and April 11.
The Ministry said that the selection process was carried out in a transparent and scientific manner, based on applicants’ merit and preferences, with the objective of addressing healthcare needs nationwide.
