28 injured in Mahiyangana bus accident

Colombo, April 25 (Daily Mirror) - A total of 28 people including 10 school children were injured when a bus met with an accident at the Mahiyangana-Tissapura PTS junction this morning, police said.

The Mahiyangana police said that the accident occurred due to a brake failure in the bus.

Meanwhile, the victims were admitted to  the Mahiyangana Base Hospital for treatment and further investigations are underway.
