26-year-old arrested for allegedly killing parents in Embilipitiya

Colombo, July 14 (Daily Mirror) - A 26-year-old man has been arrested for the murder of his parents in the Kiralawellakatuwa area of Embilipitiya.

According to the police, the incident occurred last night following a personal dispute. The victims, a 54-year-old mother and a 58-year-old father, were attacked with a sharp weapon.

The suspect is currently in police custody as investigations into the incident continue.
