26 estate workers injured after bus topples down precipice

At least 26 women were injured when a bus transporting estate workers in Pundalu Oya veered off the road and toppled down a precipice.

The injured were admitted to the Kotmale Hospital. Police said the bus had toppled down a precipice of about 30 feet.

This is the new thing that is going on with the estate workers. They are being bussed to the highest bidder due to acute shortage of estate workers. Though they live in another living quarters at a different estate. The estate workers have high demand with all the franchise or else they do not work. The owners are obligated to them now.
