Colombo, Jan 3 (Daily Mirror) - The Examinations Department today announced the holding of the 2023 (2024) Advanced Level (A/L) examination from tomorrow.
Accordingly, the examination will be held till January 31 at 2,302 examination centers, with a total of 346,976 candidates, while 319 coordinating centres will assist the examination during the period.
A total of 58,981 candidates will sit for the examination through the biology subject, and 43,712 candidates through the physics subject, while 69,077 candidates will sit for the examination through the commerce stream, 128,924 candidates through arts subjects, 23,201 candidates through the engineering technology stream; 11,377 candidates through bio-systems technology; and 11,704 candidates through other subjects.
