Fifteen persons tested positive for COVID-19 today increasing the number of COVID-19 infected persons in Sri Lanka to 269, the Health Ministry said.

It said they were reported from the isolated area in Keselwatte, Colombo.

It further said the persons had maintained close contacts with Covid-19 infected patients.

I think the government is taking a huge risk in lifting the curfew a little too early. When there are some countries out there with advanced testing centers popping out huge number of cases, we must take note that our country doesn’t have those gadgets and yet some poor people don’t even know about the virus. Definitely people will come out and a huge crowd will be expected.

For future news! All further new cases will be from quarantine centers closely monitored by the forces. This will be till the elections conclude. Thereafter total chaos!
