14 suspects further remanded over Ganemulla Sanjeewa’s murder

Colombo, April 4 (Daily Mirror) - The 14 suspects who were arrested over Ganemulla Sanjeewa's murder were further remanded till April 11 by Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali today.

The vehicle, which was used to transport the gunman and main suspect, Sewwandi to court, a Honda Vitz bearing registration number WP 8711, was released on a bond of Rs. 7 million. 

Additionally, the 14th suspect, who was arrested on the charge of aiding and abetting the main suspects by showing them the court premises, was also remanded till April 11. He had already been in remand custody till today and is to be presented via Skype technology at the next court hearing.
