12 SSPs, SPs transferred

Twelve police officers, including eight Senior Superintendents of Police (SSP) and four Superintendents of Police (SP) had been transferred with effect from today, Police Media Spokesman said.

He said the transfers had been made on service requirements with the approval of Law and Peace Ministry’s Secretary.

SSP S.P. Siriwardhana has been appointed as the Administrative Director of Police Headquarters from Director of Police Welfare Division.

SSP M.C.M. Jyfri from Jaffna Division to Welfare Division Director.

SSP W. P. Wimalasena from Jaffna Division to Matara Division.

SSP B.R.L. Ranaweera from Colombo Crime Division to Director of Crime Investigation Department.

SSP B.R.S.R. Nagahamulla from Puttalum Division to Ratnapura.

SSP K.M.S.R. Kodithuwakku from Crime Division to Puttalam Division.   

SSP J.I. De Gunathilake from building Division to Police Commanding Information Division. 
 
SSP S. C. Galappaththi to Badulla Division from Colombo Environment Protection Division.

SP G.A.N.L. Wijesena to Polonnaruwa Division from Mannar Division.

SP F.S.K Joseph from Polonnaruwa Division to Mannar Division.

SP L.H.G. Cooray as the Commanding officer of Police Field Headquarters from Badulla Division.

SP J.A.U.P Jayasinghe has been appointed the Director of Crime Division from Ratnapura Division.
