The main problems relating to motor vehicle accidents has not been addresed by the Police or the Governments running the country for many years.. (1) There has to be a proper and strict system of giving motor vehicle licences. Also any serious accident and the licence should be cancelled for very long periods of time. Up to 5 years OR even permanantly. (2) the fines for motor vechicle drivinng faults like excessive speeding (OVER 3 MILES OF THE SPEEDING LIMIT) , cutting double lines , Parking on the side of the High ways ets: to be increased to Rs. 100,000/- immidiately. (3) Policeman taking bribes in liew of fines to be strictly monitored and sacked immidiately AFTER INVESTIGATION with no pension entitlements (4) Even Police officers and forces personel breaking the road rules need to be punished irrespective of rank. ( this is normal in developed countries - no one is excempt) Only very strict policing and hefty fines will stop the occurance of fatal and big accidents daily.
