12 hour water cut in Colombo
Water supply to several areas would be interrupted from 8.00 pm today to 8.00 am tomorrow due to the laying of new pipe lines, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board announced.
The areas affected would be Colombo Fort, Pettah, Maligawatta housing scheme, areas receiving water from Maharoof Water Tower, Panchikawatte, Hulftsdorp Road, Sangaraja Mawatha and connected byroads.
The Water Board said that it regretted the inconvenience caused to the public and requested them to collect their requirement of water in advance.
