10-hour water cut in Gampaha district tomorrow

Colombo, August 10 (Daily Mirror) - The National Water Supply & Drainage Board (NWSDB) has announced that water supply will be suspended in several areas of the Gampaha District tomorrow (11) for 10 hours, from 10.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m.

They said the interruption is necessary to carry out maintenance work on the transmission pipeline from Nittambuwa to Minuwangoda, which is part of the Gampaha–Attanagalla–Minuwangoda Integrated Water Supply Scheme.

The water cut will affect Ranpokunagama, Bataliya, Attanagalla, Pasyala, and Nittambuwa, as well as Kandahena, Mapagolla, Kongasdeniya, Pinnagollawatta, Kolawatta, Gorakadeniya, Ranpokunagama Housing Scheme, Urapola, Dikkanda, Meevitigammana, Maimbula, Mathalana, Haggalla, Alawala, Kalalpitiya, and Ellamulla.
